Fuji Pearl paper has a high gloss surface and a little iridescence. We generally don't recommend it for portraits as sometimes the skin tone highlights are blown out a little. Best for colorful landscapes or funky images with lots of color.

Fuji Pearl Paper - Mostly for Landscapes
Fuji pearl paper is a high gloss photo paper with a slight iridescence on some colors. We don't recommend this paper for normal snapshots or people pictures as sometimes it has trouble with skin tones and highlights.
Pearl paper is a good choice for landscapes and funky images that have lots of bright colors.
Mounting Pearl Prints
We don't think pearl paper mounts very well on gator board - it seems to pick up the texture of the board and that results in sort of an orange peel look to the mounted print. This problem doesn't seem to happen on Styrene.
