Terms of Payment

We accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard and most ATM cards. Under some circumstances we will also accept checks (with valid California drivers license). If needed we can use PayPal which also accepts American Express.

We also offer commercial accounts to corporate and government clients which use a minimum monthly amount of services. Open account terms are net 30. Please ask for more info if you are interested in an account.

Resale - Tax Exempt Orders

If you have a sellers permit from the California State Board of Equalization please fill out and submit a California Resale Certificate so we can have it on file. Once you have done this your orders will be exempt from sales tax unless specified otherwise (personal orders and studio samples are taxable). You can download a Resale Certificate here. We must have an original signed certificate on file - you can fax a copy to get started, but please mail or bring in the original.

Rush Services

We are not a one hour lab - that was where we started, but things have changed... we are normally quite busy, and prefer to take 24 hours on most digital print orders. If you need something sooner, we can usually accommodate you, but please keep in mind that our workflow is not based on rushing everything through in the shortest time possible. We do charge a small rush fee for orders requested to be done in less than 24 hours.

Our Quality Guarantee

We do our best to complete all orders to the best of our abilities, but occasionally we do make mistakes. If you are ever unsatisfied with our product or service, please bring it back and we will gladly redo it to correct it. We welcome your comments on our service.

Limit of Liability

We truly do take great pride in our work, but occasionally really bad things do happen. In that case, we will do our best to make things right again. However, it is important to realize the extent of our liability... and here it is: Submitting any film, print, slide, negative or electronic media to Fromex Photo Lab for processing, printing or other handling constitutes an agreement by you that any damages or loss by our company, subsidiary, or agents, even though due to the negligence or other fault of our company, subsidiary, or other agents, will only entitle you to replacement with a like amount of unexposed film and processing. Except for such replacement, the acceptance of the film, print, slide, negative or electronic media is without other warranty or liability, and recovery for any incidental or consequential damages is excluded. Fromex Photo Lab does not assume liability, whether lost or damaged by fire, theft, negligence or any other means for customer supplied materials, such as frames, paintings, artwork, etc. that are submitted with orders. Should you chose to leave materials or prints, not processed in our lab, for mounting, we cannot assume responsibility for any damage incurred. We cannot be responsible for materials left unclaimed for more than thirty days after completion of our service. All prices and service specification are subject to change without notice.

Shipping Damage and Order Issues

We take great pride in our work, but mistakes do happen - let alone shipping damage. If your order has been damaged during shipping, please contact us immediately (within 7 days) and let us know the extent of the damage, what needs to be redone, and any info you can about the shipment that may have led to the damage. We may ask for pictures, and may request that you return the order for inspection.

For orders that have been completed improperly, please let us know what was wrong, and we will redo the order and get it back out to you. Again, we may issue a call tag thru UPS so we can inspect the order.

When we need to reprint an order, we will reprint the original files sent - please do not send us new files and ask us to print those instead.

It is your responsibility to ensure that images sent to us are suitable for printing, and that you have ordered the correct quantity, and have approved the final price of the order. We generally do not refund orders. We will redo an order to fix a mistake or to replace damaged prints.

We will not issue refunds for images that are ordered that you decide you do not want, or quantities that you enter incorrectly.

Express Shipping

We offer Express / Next Day shipping. Please make sure you allow us enough time to process your order before shipping - just because you ask for Next Day shipping that does not mean you will get it the next day. Turnaround time varies by product.

Please note also that the shipping carriers do not always deliver on time. We have had Next Day orders arrive several days late. UPS will only refund us for the shipping charge, so that is all we can refund you.

Please do not use a PO Box for your address if you need Next Day shipping.

Copyright Laws and Photography

Photos taken by a professional photographer generally have an implied copyright - that is the image is owned by the photographer, even if the photographer has sold a print to you. We respect this copyright and will not copy or duplicate images that we suspect are copyright protected - even if there is no visible copyright mark. We will only duplicate these types of images if there is a written letter from the photographer giving us permission to do so. The customer further agrees to hold harmless and indemnify Fromex Photo Lab, Inc./ProLabPrints.com for any costs or judgments resulting from claim for copyright infringement by the owner or his agents.
